The art in this asset pack is all hand-drawn by me (Progress screenshots available as download if you want to see). Click the download button to get it!

The sprite sheets have one 16-frame animation per row. There are also gifs included to show the animations, however a non-animated .png alternative is provided for each sprite.

The pixel train art assets shown here are my entry into Pixel Asset Pack jam #6, the theme for which is "Looooong". Assets drawn were required to be longer in one dimension than the other. I thought trains ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿšƒ๐Ÿšƒ๐Ÿšƒ seemed like a good fit for that!

This web demo is just for showing off the art assets in action - it was not a requirement of the jam, so the music and programming are just a bonus, and not featured in the download. It's a more convenient way of seeing the assets before deciding whether to download and inspect them. I did not hand-make the music or the sound from scratch; only the art assets, for the art jam, so those are the only things I've included in the download. Does that make sense? Okay, great!

Enjoy!

Please do credit me if you use it for anything! A link to this page or my itch would great. :) I'd love to see your work!

(By the way, here's a secret: You can interact with the trains using your mouse!)

Thank you so much!

Thanks so much for this asset. Just what I needed at the moment. Please what did you use for the smoke?

No worries at all! I actually just used a 16x16 opaque black circle with a particle emitter in Construct 2. It took some fine-tuning to get it to look right though.

I could give more details about specifics if you like, but I'm not sure if it'd be helpful outside of Construct!

Does that help at all?

Thanks so much. It helps. Though I use godot so I will just fine a way to do it

No worries, I'm glad if it helped a bit. Yeah, Godot is the engine I'm focusing on learning at the moment - I just hopped back onto Construct 2 to put this quick demo project together. :) Best of luck with the smoke effect in Godot!
