Press R to restart the current level if things are not going so well.

WASD/Arrows to move and jump
Space/Z can also be used to jump

Get the star, take it to the exit before your clones steal it (but if they do, steal it back!).

(Note: I may have made the levels and timers a little more forgiving than necessary. Just didn't want anyone to be quitting in boredom or frustration! Feel free to hang around on a level after collecting the star to see some fun times, when your clones start getting grabby and running away with your star.)


Also, there are many bugs (some audio glitches, sprite collision issues), and not much polish. Oops! Development got a little messy, and the week was busy.

This was an entry to a game jam, which was like... 7-8 days? The theme was "Out of Time".

I tried to make the music adaptive, but it seems to get out of sync sometimes, unfortunately, at least when I tried it in Firefox.

Music, voicing, graphics, and game (including runaway clone coding) created by me.

Three Public Domain (CC0) sound effects used from freesound.org (the sounds used for star collection, timer elapsing, and doors opening).

I used some freely available code on the web to help with the programming for the clones' recording and playback (which is what controls their movements until you collect a star), but I did the rest unaided.
